Tamils from Sri Lanka are late comers to Canada. Coming to a new country with different cultures and traditions and being able to succeed in that environment is something to be proud of.
Giving back to the community has always been a priority for me. I am extremely fortunate to have the privilege and the trust of my investors to manage their wealth. I want to be able to pass on some of that good fortune to the younger generation. TiF’s mentorship program gives me the opportunity to do just that.
Tamils in Canada are extremely fortunate to have found a second home after leaving Sri Lanka. Its is our responsibility to ensure that we pay that debt back by being productive citizens. TiF is one more avenue through which to empower the younger generation and build a stronger Tamil community and continue to keep Canada great.
